Atlas Van Lines earns top honors in 17th annual
Nationwide Relocating Employee Survey©
(HOUSTON, TX) – Atlas Van Lines was cited as the top mover of household goods in a recent survey conducted by Trippel Survey and Research, LLC, an Arkansas-based research and consulting firm. Founded by Alan Trippel in 1994, the company provides relocation professionals with comprehensive, unbiased surveys, research and consulting. This is the 17th year that Trippel has conducted its Nationwide Relocating Employee Survey©.
The goal of the annual survey is to objectively gather opinions of thousands of recently transferred employees, measuring the level of satisfaction with the following relocation service providers:
- Household good movers
- Relocation management service companies
- Relocation mortgage companies
- Spouse/partner companies
- Temporary housing companies

Atlas received the top score among the 12 household goods movers that the survey respondents mentioned in their responses. There were 726 transferees who specifically cited Atlas as the top household goods mover. Survey respondents include any transferred employees serviced by the company, regardless of size of load or whether the activity was pack and load, delivery, or both ends of the move. Both homeowners and renters were included in the survey.
The annual Nationwide Relocating Employee Survey was conducted throughout a six month period, ending June 30, 2011. The survey accumulated opinions from 7,298 transferees representing 110 companies headquartered throughout the United States.
