Casey Bridges

EDC Moving Systems is proud to announce that it has promoted Casey Bridges, previously the Assistant General Manager, to be the General Manager of the Austin, Texas Office.  Before joining EDC, Casey was the Assistant General Manager of Central Transportation Systems in Austin.  Casey has served in various positions with CTS as well as with Berger Transfer and Storage.  He has over 24 years of experience in the moving industry.

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Casey moved frequently with his oil field geologist father and the rest of his family (perhaps fostering an interest in the moving industry in the process).  After serving four years active duty in the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army, Casey settled in Austin, Texas, in 1986 with his new wife Kris to attend college.  Casey began his journey in the moving business while also attending Officer Candidate School with the Texas National Guard, taking a full schedule of courses in college, and taking care of his wife and growing young family.  He made his way up from the “ground floor” of the moving business, working part time until he graduated from Park University with a degree in Business Management.  This focus and drive to succeed continues to play an important role in Casey’s business and personal life.

Casey has been married for 24 years to his wife, Kris, who is a fourth grade teacher at Parmer Lane Elementary School.  He has three children:  Ian, 21; Kaitlin,19; and Cooper, 17.  In his spare time, Casey enjoys exploring Austin and the surrounding Hill Country with his wife.  He is also an avid reader as well as a deer and dove hunter.
