EDC Moving Systems is pleased to announce Bob Chackel as the new General Manager of the Dallas branch office. Bob brings his 35 years knowledge of the moving industry to EDC. He began his career as a driver and has extensive hands on experience as a packer, local driver, project manager, and owner operator. He was an award winning driver in the Atlas system, winning the Million Mile safety award and the scroll of honor.

As his experience grew, Bob was promoted to a management role with many successful major van line agencies in the country. He demonstrated his ability to handle challenging projects, delivering results, and building organizations.

Bob owned his own Atlas agencies in Tucson and Phoenix. This allowed him to gain knowledge of financing, accounting, marketing, business mix, dispatching, sales, claims, customer service and maintaining the highest level of business ethics. Bob is a highly successful leader with years of progressive management experience delivering solutions that provide value-added improvements to key business functions.

Bob loves the pace and energy of this industry and is an avid fresh water fisherman. He has two grown daughters with four lovely grandchildren.
